Why Central?
Upon making a decision between deciding on where to go to school, the reason why I choose Central is because I knew Central would be a place that would challenge me in ways to grow as an individual in and outside the class room. and that’s why I choose Central because I think they have a strong sense of community here as well as small student/teacher ratio offering you more personable help when you need it.
Favorite professor and why?
Dr. Diers is my favorite professor even though I’ve only had her once, but I say this because she really cares about individuals and has a heart for kids which I admire. She is very passionate in what she does and also made class enjoyable by providing a welcoming environment.
In your iPod?
Ipods? What is that? No I’m kidding, there is a lot of old jams that were rockin’ back in my middle school days, but it would mostly consist of country and hip hop. Oh dear and don’t forget the embarrassing middle school pictures!
What do you plan to major in and why?
My plan is to major in Sociology with a non-profit management minor, I greatly have the desire to help and be an advocate to youth who are at risk and who are in a state of crisis. I have an interest in pursuing a career in the social work field. Sociology will enable me to sharpen and develop skills that are needed.
Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life?
Jennifer Aniston, because she’s one of my favorite actors and she’s hilarious!
What is your favorite Central College tradition?
Lemming race during homecoming week
Dream vacation spot?
Anywhere in the mountains
Favorite professional athlete?
Lolo Jones, because she is inspiring by the determination she has to push over life obstacles by keeping hope and positivity.
Best advice you’ve ever received from a coach?
Don’t let life circumstances and obstacles get in the way of your personal goals in what you want to achieve.

Why do you love Central track and field?
Central track and field has an amazing coaching staff because they are passionate and dedicated to the sport itself but also always find ways to challenge us in making us better athletes. The team in itself is very outgoing and supportive, we always have a good time together! And another bonus is they put up with my sassiness and crazy personality.
“Ten years from now I’ll...”
Ten years from now I’ll have the man of my dreams I have been patiently waiting for, living somewhere with mountains that’s surrounded by nature... maybe (Colorado)? I will be a loving mother that is chasing little ones around the house, maybe adopt/foster kids, and have a crazy adventurous life that is filled with happiness!

Don’t tell coach… but its sooo hard to stay away from the ice cream machine and apple pie!
