Why did you choose Central?

I chose Central because of the small-town atmosphere and class sizes that it provides. I also enjoy that I am still able to play basketball close enough to home so my parents can come watch. 

Favorite professor and why?

My favorite professor is good old Dave Pavlat because he is awesome! Simple as that. Dave is always willing to help students with literally anything, even if you have never had him as a professor. 

You’re majoring in physical education because? 

I enjoy working with kids of any age and being active during my workday. 

Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?

I am part of the kinesiology club and I help with Central Little Dutch Academy on campus. 

Who is your go-to musical artists?

I don’t really have any go-to musical artists because I like to listen to all different genres of music. Yet, the Jonas Brothers are always a top choice. 
 
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?

Attending Central and playing basketball has impacted my life because it has forced me to be very organized and manage my time well, which is helpful because I can procrastinate a lot sometimes. 

Teammate who should a reality tv show crew following them?

Kaitlyn Mumm, she is quite an interesting individual and is always doing something crazy. If a crew were to follow her around, they would definitely get some great entertainment caught on film. 

Favorite sport to play besides basketball.

I really like to play pickleball, even though I’m not the most talented in that area it’s such a competitive game to play no matter who your opponent is. 

What’s the most amount of 3-pointers you’ve hit consecutively in a practice?

I have no idea! I have never kept track, sorry! 

Favorite professional basketball team or player?

I am a big fan of Klay Thompson because of how he contributes on both the offensive and defensive end. He’s also pretty good at shooting three pointers so there’s always that too. 

Favorite TV Show

Friends is without a doubt my favorite tv show of all time. I love the humor the show has, and I could probably quote most of the episode’s word for word. 

What’s it like to play for Coach Weiland?

Playing for Coach Weiland is great because he has so much confidence in our team and believes that we can win every single game that we have scheduled. 

What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central’s women’s basketball team?

My teammates. We have a great group of so many different personalities, so it is never boring. I also love the new friendships that I have gained from hanging out with each of them outside
of basketball. 

What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?

In 10 years, I actually hope to be coaching at either the high school or college level for basketball. 

Favorite food from Central Market

CTO Omelets I never get up earlier than I need to in the morning, but when there are omelets on the menu for breakfast at the market I will every time. 

Bucket list

    -    Visit Paris From what I have seen it always looks so beautiful and I think it would be a fun experience to have.
    -    Skydiving Even though I don’t think I’ll ever actually convince myself to do it. I will most likely get into the sky and never end up leaving the plane until we are back onto the ground.
