Why did you choose Central?

I chose Central because it was a place I felt I could call home while also having the tools and resources to excel both academically and athletically. Each time I spoke with a coach, professor, or admissions counselor, I knew my future would be in good hands at Central.

Favorite professor and why?

Although I love all my professors, my favorites are Liz Golovatski and Kristen Thompson. Both professors bring a fun and positive mindset to class and are always willing to help when needed!

You’re majoring in __________ because?

I am majoring in physics and engineering because of my passion for creativity, taking on challenges, and being able to help others. I also hope to use my knowledge and experience in engineering to go on to become a versatile architect.

Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?

Besides being on the track team, I am part of the Programming Board, Engineering Club, and FCA. I also serve as a grader for a variety of physics and calculus classes.

Who are your go-to musical artists?

I love all country music but especially Ella Langley, Zach Bryan, and Chris Stapleton. I also love SZA, Olivia Dean, and Gunna.

How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?

Being a student-athlete at Central has greatly impacted my life. I have learned the importance of working hard for your goals, time-management, and leadership while balancing a heavy course load and a sport. But most importantly, I have created memories and relationships with teammates and coaches that I will value throughout the rest of my life.

Favorite restaurant in the world?

Anywhere with a good steak, sweet potato, and asparagus!

If you could bring one fictional character to life, who would it be and why?

I would bring back Hannah Montana so that I could see her in concert with my sisters which was my dream as a little girl!

All-time favorite Disney movie?

I could only watch High School Musical and the Hannah Montana Movie for the rest of my life and be content.

Would you rather be famous musical artist or the next Einstein/Tesla?

Considering I have little to no musical talent, I would rather be the next Einstein/Tesla as I learn about many of their discoveries and principles every day through physics.

Favorite TV Show

My favorite TV show is Grey's Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars, or Gossip Girl.

What’s it like to compete for Coach Sturman?

Competing for Coach Sturman has been a great experience and the reason for tremendous growth in my abilities. The workouts he provides and belief he has in myself and other athletes has allowed me to become a better competitor and has led to many opportunities - surpassing all my expectations coming into college athletics.

What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central’s track & field team?

My teammates and coaches are by far my favorite part of being on the Central track and field team. Practice, although very challenging, is something I look forward to each day because of the encouraging, supportive, and fun atmosphere the team creates.

What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?

In ten years from now, I hope to be married, live on a farm, and work from home as an architect while raising a big family. I also hope to stay in touch with my friends made at Central and keep up with the track and field team.

Favorite food from Central Market

My favorite Central Market food is definitely Bourbon Chicken (& caramel bars for dessert!)

Bucket list

1. Attend one of my favorite artists’ concerts at Red Rock Amphitheater
2. Explore Grand Teton and Glacier National Park
3. Design or reconstruct a Cathedral.
