Why did you chose Central?
I chose Central because I liked how small it is and how welcoming the people are. I felt like I would be at home for four years and find some of my best friends.
Favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor is Stavros. His classes are full of fun while still learning the ins and outs of communication. He is always willing to help and find what works best for each group of students he has for different classes.
You’re majoring in business management because?
Coming into college I was unsure of what I wanted to do. I know I wanted to do something with business because of the wide range of opportunities after college.
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
The only other thing that do is a golf cart Uber for football games. I enjoy this because the vast amount of people I meet. Shoutout to Dave Sutphen for hooking me up for this job.
Who are your go-to musical artists?
My go-to musical artists are Two Friends who make the Big Bootie mixes. There are 24 vol. and I could recite about 12 of the hour-long mixes. These mixes are good for listening to just about anything from studying all the way to working out.
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?
The balance between school and baseball is the greatest challenge to Central. I love the challenge because it has made me much more well rounded to be able to manage my time. Each day is never the same because there is always something that comes up whether that be school or baseball
Worst thing you ever did as a child? What was the punishment?
When I was in elementary school, I wrote on the wall just outside the door with a marker. My mom made me scrub it off the next day.
Favorite baseball player of all time
My favorite player is Alex Rodriguez because I always number 13 growing up. Although I don’t wear it anymore, I wanted to grow up to hit as many home runs as he hit.
What’s your best sport besides baseball?
My best sport besides baseball is tennis. In high school, I used to wack that ball but I was no professional. I think most professionals don’t hit the ball over the fence.
Most important part of your gameday routine?
The most important part to my game day routine is listening to a Big Bootie mix. Like I said, these mixes can really pump you up.
Favorite TV Show
My favorite TV would be stranger things I guess. I don’t really watch a whole lot of TV.
What’s it like to play for Coach Carey?
Playing for Coach Carey is the most I have ever had playing baseball. He makes you want to be there every practice with the amount of energy he brings. He is always willing to hear the thoughts to help him improve the dynamic of his team. It’s the best change Central baseball has seen in my time as a player.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of the Central baseball team?
My favorite part of being a member of the Central baseball team is the amount of relationships that could last a lifetime. I love to go to practice everyday with every guy because I always know they have my back with everything I do. I will remember these days for the rest of my life.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
Ten years from now I hope to be a college baseball coach. My love and knowledge for the game will never go away and I would I love to teach players the game. I would like to thank the coaches over my years for that path.
Favorite food from Central Market
My favorite would be the CTO fried chicken sandwich. The go to order is spicy, mayo, american cheese. It’s easy to make so the lines go by fast too.
Bucket list
I want to go to every MLB stadium. That would be at the top of my bucket list.
