Why did you chose Central?

I chose Central because of the great community and environment. When I first visited Central I knew that it was a great fit for me. I have been able to meet so many lifelong friends, while also getting a top notch education and opening various avenues of opportunity for my future.

Favorite professor and why?

My Favorite Professor is George Nwaogu, for various reasons. My first year on campus as a freshman I had many classes with him, and he was always very upbeat and joyful. He loves to make jokes and truly cares about how we are doing in our lives outside of class. He has pushed me to become a better student throughout the years, and has also helped me grow to become a better person.

You’re majoring in finance because?

My brain is wired towards math and problem solving. I have also really enjoyed numbers and critical thinking and this major is all of that. Finance is math and critical thinking, but it also involves a future in a very social avenue which I love. I consider myself a pretty social person and I enjoy helping others when they are in need.  My hopes are to become an Insurance Agent to start and then diversify my career by becoming a Financial Advisor.

Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?

I am not involved in many extra-curriculars outside of being on the golf team, but I really enjoy supporting my teammates and friends on campus with their extra-curriculars. I like to attend campus events that my teammates and friends are involved in. This is a good way for me to expand my horizons and try new things that I haven’t tried before.

Who are your go-to musical artists?

I think my go to musical artists would have to be Cody Johnson and Post Malone. I really enjoy a variety of music, but these two artists I would consider to be my favorite.

How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?

Attending Central has impacted my life in various ways, first off attending Central was a huge shock to my life. At the beginning of my freshman year, I would be the first person to tell you that I was a person who loved being comfortable in an environment that I was familiar with. Central was the perfect scenario for me because It pushed my outside my comfort level and expanded my life in so many perspectives. Central impacted my life deeply also because it showed me a glimpse of a world that I wasn’t familiar with. I grew up in a small town where you don’t see as much cultural diversity. Central College has been great for me as it has shown me how other people grew up and how important it is to understand each other and not bash each other for our differences.

What club in your bag do you trust the most?

I would say I trust my 3 Wood the most. I am able to shape my shots and control my distance better than any other club in my bag.

What’s it like to play for Coach Blasi?

It has been great to play for Coach Blasi, he has endless knowledge and love for the game. He pushes us to our potential and makes us believe that we are way better than we give ourselves credit for. As a coach, instilling confidence is so important because If we believe we are much better than we might be we are able to push our limits and play at our highest potential at times.

What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central golf?

My favorite part of about being a member of the Central golf team is the long van rides that we take to our tournaments. Coach does a great job at putting together a high-class schedule for our team so we can compete at the highest level. The van rides are a great time to bond with your teammates and have some great laughs. As teammates we have become family, and our relationships will last forever.

What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?

In 10 years, I hope to be married with a couple children. I hope to have built a house on some hunting land and have some hunting dogs to enjoy my hunts with. I hope I have advanced my career into financial advising and to have worked hard to build my business. But, as we all know God has a plan for us all and I find it important for myself to trust God and what he has in store for my family and myself.
