Class of 2020
Marshalltown, Iowa
Why did you choose Central?
I was introduced to Central through a few alumni that always told stories about how they loved their time at Central. After hearing those, I scheduled a visit. Just spending one day on campus made me realize how special it was here. I really enjoyed how close everyone was on campus and the general support from everyone.
Favorite professor and why?
Dr. Kleven. The one class I had with him was Middle Eastern Civilization. Going into the class I just had expectations to fulfill a couple core credits. He made the class fun and had very interesting stories about his time in the Middle East.
You’re majoring in business management because?
I have always wanted to own my own business. I watched my grandpa and mother start their own companies so it has always kind of been in my blood.
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
Student Senate, Mentors in Violence Prevention, as well as living in a Green Pod.
Who are your go-to musical artists?
Drake, Post Malone, Old Dominion, and Bryce Vine. Kind of all over the place.
What did you do for work and for fun in the summer of 2019?
I was a member of the Facilities Management Team here on campus. Myself and my fellow co-workers worked diligently to make Central’s campus great again. For fun, I went on a trip to Michigan and stayed in a cabin on a lake with Josh Mayhew and Billy Friis.
If you could master one skill you don’t have right now, what would it be?Â
Getting a good grade on exams without studying.
What’s your favorite book you’ve ever read?
Probably the Harry Potter series or The President is Missing by James Patterson.
If you could live anywhere, where would you choose?
I am content with living in the Midwest my whole life, but if I had to narrow it down, I would say a lake house in Okoboji, Iowa.
What’s your number one pet peeve?
People making noises while they eat. It drives me crazy
Favorite TV Show
Friends or Big Mouth
What’s it like to play for Coach Mulder?
He is great. He always has high expectations for us as a defense and helps push us to be the best football players that we can be. On a side note, he is sneaky athletic still. One day in practice he caught a punt effortlessly that most guys would have struggled to do.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central football?
The friendships and laughs we share. I have made some of my best friends while being a part of this team. Â Also, we have a movie night every Friday in Maytag and it is always a good time.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
Owning my own business in the health and nutrition field and have at least one dog.
Favorite food from Central Market
Flat bread pizza options are always good, or the Rice Krispy Treats.

Win the American Rivers Conference
Watch the Dallas Cowboys win a Super Bowl
