Why did you chose Central?
I chose Central because the moment I walked on campus I could tell everyone genuinely cared and wanted to help me pursue my goals. I knew that I would get a great education that would prepare me for my professional goals after college and being able to continue to run was an added bonus.
Favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor by far is Dr. B. I enjoy his teaching style and he is incredibly knowledgeable. I love talking with him because he is like a walking encyclopedia and I just try to retain as many of the facts he says as I can.
You’re majoring in __________ because?
Biology- The topics interest me and I plan on going to veterinary school and this major would prepare me for that.
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
I am an SOS Orientation leader, I have a work-study job at the café, I studied abroad in Bangor, Wales, and I also did research with Dr.B summer 2018.
Who are your go-to musical artists?
Imagine Dragons, The Chainsmokers, Ed Sheeran- mostly any pop music
What did you do for work and for fun in the summer of 2019?
I did large and small animal job shadowing for experience for my application to vet school. And for fun I swam a lot and also went on a hiking trip to Colorado with my dad and brother.
What was the best part of studying abroad last spring?
All of it. But in all honesty, I went to Bangor, Wales and the Outdoor Pursuits class offered there was incredible. The activities we did were incredible and every day was fun and a new adventure.
Favorite Disney character?
Simba.
If you could live in a book, TV show, or movie, what would it be?
I would choose to live on the TV show Survivor. I love watching the show and want to be a contestant someday, but they usually play on a tropical island and who wouldn’t want to live there. Maybe I could even become the next Jeff Probst!
If you had to choose to live without one of your five senses, which one would you give up? Â
I would choose to go without the sense of smell. Being that I want to become a veterinarian I actually think I would prefer not having my sense of smell at times.

Favorite TV show
Anyone who knows me well could probably answer this, but it is definitely The Office. I quote it on the daily and appreciate it when people actually get the references!
What’s it like to compete for Coach Dunham?
Coach Dunham gives the best pre-race pump-up chats. He is also really easy to talk to and helps clear your mind about stresses and is great at boosting your confidence.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central cross country?
The cross country team is really close and I have made some of my lifelong best friends from being a part of it. We spend a lot of time together so we get to know one another really well. I also know that I can count on anyone to be there for me when I need it.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
Hopefully I will be happily married and have a job that I love with a blue merle Australian Shepherd and a mini-goldendoodle.
Favorite food from Central Market
Caramel bars.
Bucket list
My list is pretty long but here are some highlights: Be a Contestant on Survivor, Run the Leadville 100, Complete an Ironman Triathlon, Climb all 58 14ers in Colorado.
