Why did you chose Central?
I chose Central because it was such a pleasant surprise to find a home away from home! I love spending time with my family, and when I visited my senior year of high school, I realized that I could have that same experience 13 hours away from my parents!
Favorite professor and why?
Julianne Taylor is the most majestic professor to ever grace Central’s campus, and I am so blessed to have been taught and tutored by her! She constantly goes out of her way to make sure students are in the best position to succeed, and her joy is contagious, especially during 8am classes, when it is most needed!
Who are your go-to musical artists ?
I don’t think I have go-to artists, but rather go-to genres. For example, for instantaneous joy and magic, I listen to Christmas music, no matter the season! I listen to rock music to work out, and songs with ukuleles in them when I am feeling chill!
What are you majoring in and why?
I’m majoring in Elementary Education because I cannot imagine anything better than changing the future for the better by teaching young minds! Also, I will be able to wear many hats as a teacher: actress, motivational speaker, mathematician, and psychologist, just to name a few!
What do you value most in life and why?
I value my relationship with Jesus and God, because having that kind of love in my life shows me how best to live my life to help others, and everything they do is cool! Without them, I would not be where I am today, and I would not have this immense joy in my soul!
What are your pet peeves or interesting things about you that you dislike?
I absolutely detest the sound of nail files, and I have this weird sixth sense where I can locate someone filing their nails even if it is in a loud, crowded area. Confession: I have thrown away every single one of my mom’s nail files, and when she tries to buy new ones, I sneak them out of her cart and back onto the shelf.
What is your most favorite place on Earth and why?
When I lived in Tennessee, we had an elaborate tree fort that we built by hand, and I would sit on the bridge connecting the two parts of the fort. I would just sit there with my eyes closed, and let the wind surround me like a hug. That is my favorite place, because it was a magical place in which to grow up!

If a loved one was to serenade you, what song would you most like them to sing?
I think I would laugh if I were truly serenaded, so the most beautiful thing any loved one could sing to me would be the ABC’s or Happy Birthday, because that way my laughing wouldn’t be insulting!
What's the ultimate condiment?
Each food has its specific soul mate condiment, so this is a difficult question! I think I probably ingest ranch the most, because I always wanted to live in the Hidden Valley!

I love watching Dancing with the Stars, like the 90 year-old woman I am!
What is it like to play for Coach Czipri?
Coach Czipri is extremely driven and goal-oriented which sets a great example for how our team needs to be if we are to truly slay in this upcoming season! She is always up front with her players, so you never have to guess what she is thinking, which is, personally, a relief!
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central volleyball?
I absolutely adore my teammates! They are intelligent and hardworking, making me a better player and person just by being near them! They are family so I have high expectations for them, but they can definitely handle it, because they are strong, independent women!

Be doing something crazy like teaching in Italy, winning Spartan races left and right, or being married to a millionaire who happens to also love Pride and Prejudice.
Favorite food from Central Market
Oh. My. Goodness. Let me tell you, that throwback Kid’s Meal they introduced in the market changed my life! I even wrote an email to the Dining Services requesting that the meal appear more frequently, and they obliged! You’re welcome for the nuggets, Brooke Caves!
