PELLA — Leading the Central College men's basketball team in scoring during its trip out to Las Vegas, Kyle Cason (freshman, Grimes, Dallas Center-Grimes HS) was selected for the D3hoops.com Classic.
           
Cason had a career-high 26 points in an 82-69 win over Occidental College (Calif.) on Monday. He was 11 of 16 from the field and made four free throws. He added 15 more during the 100-68 victory against Bridgewater State University (Mass.).
           
Central is back home for a Wednesday, January 7 game against Loras College at 7:30 p.m.
