Box Score MOUNT VERNON — A 3-1 weekend yielded a second-place finish in the C-Flight of doubles at the American Rivers Conference Championships for Central College men's tennis players Donovan Klish (sophomore, Liberty, Mo., North HS) and Hayden Sinclair (junior, Ames).
           
The duo opened with a 6-1 triumph against Alexander Hardin and Danny Santoy of the University of Dubuque. In the next round, they beat Luis Garcia and Charlie Dobbs of Loras College 6-2. A 6-4 win over Ryan Wobken and Ian Armbrust of Nebraska Wesleyan University put the Central tandem in the title match. They would drop a 6-4 match against Dubuque's Ryan Wobken and Iam Armbrust to take silver
           
Brody Ferrell (sophomore, Pella) went 2-2 in the D-Flight of singles, just missing the podium after losing his semifinal and third-place match.
           
Next on the Dutch schedule is a trip to Saint Peter, Minnesota for the ITA Division III Midwest Regional Friday and Saturday.
