PELLA — Juniors Ayden Fletcher (Waukee) and AJ Wilkins (Grinnell) of the Central College men's tennis team were selected to the American Rivers All-Conference team for the 2024 spring season.

There were 12 players selected for singles and 12 for doubles with significant overlap between the two lists. Fletcher was cited for singles and Wilkins was picked for doubles.

Fletcher went 6-2 as the No. 1 singles player for the Dutch. He was 2-2 against other members of the all-conference team, beating Cade Davis of Wartburg College and Gage Becker of Loras College.

Wilkins split time with two different doubles partners during league matches. He started 2-1 with Alejo Marcon at No. 1 doubles before shifting to Travis Subbert (freshman, McKinney, Texas, North HS) and going 3-2 in the same spot.

Subbert was selected as honorable mention to the all-conference team after going 5-2 in doubles and 5-3 singles.

Central finished the season 9-13 overall and placed fourth in the conference at a 5-3 mark.
