Class of 2021
Yorkville, Illinois

Why did you chose Central?

I chose Central because I liked the fact that classes were small. I wanted to go to a school where I was known by my professors. It was even better when I learned that the school was very accepting to athletes.

Favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor is Professor Golovatski. I really enjoy the topics covered in her classes. I learn very well the way she teaches. I am very hands on and learn by doing. She does a lot of in class examples and forces us to try the examples which helps me to learn the material better.

You’re majoring in Engineering because?

I love to figure out how things work and why. I grew up doing heating and cooling with my dad in our family business. I spent most of my time in high school learning to fix problems with various kinds of machines. I want to be able to get a better understanding of why these machines are built the way they are and how they can be improved so that they do not have to be fixed as often.

Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?

I am only involved in baseball on campus. I spend a lot of extra time on my academics because of my major. Whatever time I am not putting into academics, I am putting into my off campus job or training for the baseball season.

Who are your go-to musical artists? With the extra time required
I listen to mainly country music. I listen to a lot of Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Randy Houser are the main ones I have been listening to lately.

Who is your favorite MLB team?

I grew up about an hour and a half outside Chicago which makes me a big Cubs fan.

What is the MLB stadium you are most wanting to see a game in?

I have been to Wrigley a fair amount for obvious reasons. I want to go to PNC in Pittsburgh at some point. It is supposed to be absolutely beautiful. I would love to go to Fenway for the history behind the ball park.

What's the ultimate condiment?

BBQ sauce. It is the ultimate cookout sauce.

If you were a famous wrestler, what would your stage name be?

MIghty Mouse. I am 5’5”. I feel like that would be a pretty good fit. Also a fantastic cartoon character.

Teammate most likely to want to go on The Bachelorette?

Landon Vander Leest. I am pretty sure he already applied to be on the show.

Favorite TV Show

NCIS and Seal Team

What’s it like to compete for Coach Schirm?

Coach Schirm allows you to be the player you are. He doesn’t try to make a lot of cookie cutter players. He lets players be themselves which allows for players to reach their potential.

What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central baseball?

I love training with the guys through the offseason and seeing everyones growth as the season goes. It is really cool to see how far everyone has come since they got on campus. It is awesome to be able to see guys find success and see their hard work pay off in game.

What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?

Well my suitemates would love me to say rolling around in dirt and grease. In reality I would love to be doing something related to research and development of new machines. I wouldn’t be opposed to taking my degree and going back into the trades either.

Favorite food from Central Market

I love the cook to order chicken sandwiches and the cook to order burger bar.
