Why did you choose Central?
I’ve been coming down to Central for softball games since I was a kid, and every time I was on campus I felt at home. I knew from a young age that this is where I wanted to come!
Favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor is a tie between Dr. Mena and Dr. Richards. Dr. Mena manages to make biology interesting, and has pushed me to aspire for more than I ever thought possible! Dr. Richards makes every class interesting and has the best stories to share!
Who are your go-to musical artists?
My music taste changes constantly, and I love almost anything! I would have to say my current favorites are Shawn Mendes, Sam Smith, Lady Gaga, and Carrie Underwood. That being said, I could always go for some Nickelback!
You’re majoring in biology because?
I’m majoring in biology because baby-deliverer isn’t an option.
What is your favorite joke?
Why did the cactus cross the road? Cause it was stuck to the chicken’s back.
What was the last gift you gave someone?
I mailed a cute Valentine’s Day card to my grandma!
Most embarrassing moment?
I’m not sure if Coach Wares remembers this but I guess he’ll know now. When I was about 8 I came down to a Central Softball camp that my mom was helping with. Halfway through the week I got sick and puked right on Coach’s shoes. That’s my first memory of Coach Wares and it still gets me.
Favorite sport besides softball
Does napping count as a sport? If not, I would say volleyball, wrestling, or football.
Favorite celebrity when you were a kid
I thought I was edgy when I was a kid so maybe Avril Lavigne? I also read a lot of Little House on the Prairie so Laura Ingalls Wilder was considered a celebrity in my book!
If you could choose your last words, what would they be?
I don’t want to get super morbid here so I guess “Boop boy bye”
Favorite TV ShowDoes Twilight count as a TV show?
I also binge out on Grey’s Anatomy and Peaky Blinders.
What’s one thing people might not know about Coach Wares?
Coach says he dislikes the talent show during Central Softball camp, but we all know he secretly looks forward to the counselor skit every year.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central Softball?
My favorite part of being a member of Central College Softball is the connection with alumni! I love knowing that I’m contributing to a legacy that is so special and much bigger than any one person.

Be in a delivery room delivering my 15th baby of that week. Afterwards, I’ll pick up pizza and come home to my family.
