Why did you chose Central?
Central allowed me to participate in both music and athletics on campus. I really appreciate how professors and coaches encourage students to be involved on campus!
Favorite professor and why?
This is a tough question because there are so many excellent professors on campus! I would have to say Dr. Sarah Van Waardhuizen. She is very passionate about music education and provides students with lots of unique opportunities for professional development!

Sara Bareilles, Lauren Daigle, or Mumford and Sons
You’re majoring in music education because?
I’m majoring in music education so that I can make a difference in students’ lives. I believe all students deserve a positive role model that will help them become successful in their future!
Describe yourself in 3 words.
I asked the team to come up with a few words to describe me and this is what they came up with: optimistic, bubbly, and carefree. They are so sweet..
What is your favorite thing to spend money on?
Plane tickets to visit my adorable nieces that live in Hawaii :)
What is your dream job?
An elementary music teacher at a school district with a supportive learning environment. I would also love to coach cross country and track!
Favorite Central memory
The trip to Connecticut with the XC team and the trip to Austria/Germany with the A Cappella Choir!

If you could choose to be one age for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
In my 20’s.. it’s an exciting adventure trying to figure out what you want to do with your life!

The Office of course!
What’s one thing people might not know your coach?
Coach Dunham has a lot of different pairs of shoes.. I don’t think I’ve seen him wear the same pair twice!
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central Track and Field?
My teammates are my favorite part about being a member of the team. They are so supportive and we have WAY too much fun together.
