Bodi Kortz (freshman, Wormerveer, Netherlands/St. Michael College) of the Central College men's tennis team was chosen for American Rivers All-Conference accolades for singles and doubles play Wednesday.
There were 12 players selected for singles and doubles with significant overlap between the lists.
Kortz was 6-2 in singles during American Rivers Conference play, playing all eight matches in the No. 1 slot. He finished 15-11 overall in singles. In doubles matches, he finished 4-4 at No. 1 alongside
Alex Slaymaker (senior, Geneseo, Ill.). His only singles losses in conference play were to league MVP Joao Benvenutti of Luther College and Rookie of the Year Anthony Schulte of Coe College.
Slaymaker was one of nine players to earn honorable mention from the league. He was 6-2 as Central's No. 2 singles play.
The Dutch finished their season 5-17 and 4-4 in the conference.
