BOSSIER CITY, LOUISIANA— As part of the program's annual spring break trip, the Central College women's golf team finished fifth of seven teams at the Hal Sutton Invitational hosted by Centenary College (La.) Tuesday.
Playing at The Golf Club at Stonebridge on the Par-72 course set at 5,814 yards, Central recorded a two-day score of 371-384—755 and finished 179 strikes above par. Mississippi College, a NCAA Division II program, won the tournament at 316-298—614.
Allie Pfantz (sophomore, State Center, West Marshall HS) paced the Dutch by sharing ninth place after shooting 88-82—170.
Mickey Martens (junior, Villa Park, Ill., Willowbrook HS) was 26th in 94-92—186.
Chloe Sundet (sophomore, Urbandale, Waukee Northwest HS) was 30th after carded 95-97—192 and
Bella Keaveney (sophomore, Hubbard, South Hardin HS) tied for 32nd in 107-100—207..
Central travels to Bloomington, Illinois for the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University on April 11 and 12.
