PELLA— After averaging 33 points on 74.3% shooting and 10.5 rebounds in two wins, center Joshua Van Gorp (5th-year, Pella, Pella Christian HS) has been named to the D3hoops.com team of the week.
           
This is Van Gorp's fifth time being named to the d3hoops.com team of the week in his career. He was also tabbed as American Rivers male athlete of the week. 
           
His performance this week is highlighted by a new American Rivers and school record 55-point, performance in a 75-73 win against Coe College on February 1. He added 11 points on 3-of-3 shooting in a win against Simpson on January 29.
           
The Dutch have two road games this week when they travel to Buena Vista University on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and follow it up by traveling to Dubuque to take on Loras College Saturday at 4 p.m.
