PELLA— The leading scorer of the Central College women's soccer team, forward Piper Eighmy (junior, Birmingham, Ala., Briarwood Christian HS), was chosen for the American Rivers All-Conference Team announced Friday.
           
Kylie Bloomstrom (sophomore, midfielder, Forest Lake, Minn., Forest Lake Area HS), Bailey Huizenga (senior, defender, Colona, Ill., Geneseo HS), Rylee Rustad (junior, midfielder, Gilbert, Ariz., Casteel HS) and Zoey Sizemore (junior, goalkeeper, Omaha, Neb., Mercy HS) were also selected as honorable mentions.
           
In eight conference matches, Eighmy scored two goals and assisted on two others. She played 444 minutes and attempted 18 shots.
           
Bloomstrom started all eight matches and played 520 minutes in the midfield. Huizenga played 696 minutes in the back row, notching a pair of assists. Rustad had a goal and two assists. Sizemore had 24 saves and four shutouts.
           
Central finished the season 10-5-3 and 3-3-2 in conference matches.
