Central men’s tennis wraps up fall season

The Dutch finish regional tournaments

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SAINT PETER, MINN.— On day two of the ITA Regional tennis tournament the Central College men's tennis team lost its only match in the main draw.
           
Nick Scott (5th-year, Fort Benton, Mont., Great Falls Central Catholic HS) and AJ Wilkins (senior, Grinnell) fell to the No. 3 seed Reuben Giorgio and Theo Billson from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater 8-1 in the second round.
           
Ayden Fletcher (senior, Waukee) and Alex Slaymaker (sophomore, Geneseo, Ill.) competed in the consolation doubles tournament. They defeated a duo from Concordia-Moorhead (Minn.) before losing to a team from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
           
Meanwhile at the Midwest Open Travis Subbert (sophomore, McKinney, Texas, North HS) and Ernest Alvarez Chedzoy (sophomore, Kerrville, Texas, Tivy HS) made it to the quarterfinals defeating a duo from Cornell College 8-3. They then lost to a team from Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) 8-1 to end their tournament.
           
This tournament finishes the fall slate for the Dutch.
