PELLA—For the first time in Central College women's soccer program history, Olivia DeVos (junior, Altoona, Southeast Polk HS) was selected as the Intercollegiate Women's Soccer Organization for Coaches National Player of the Week Thursday.

Founded in 2025, the IWSOC is a coach-led nonprofit built for college coaches and dedicated to advancing women's college soccer through leadership, legislative advocacy, and strategic stewardship of the sport. IWSOC serves as the national voice for intercollegiate women's soccer coaches, supporting more than 30,000 female student-athletes and 3,000 coaches across NCAA Divisions I, II and III.

The IWSOC weekly awards are selected by a panel of NCAA women's soccer coaches, with fan voting factored in to help determine each week's honorees.

DeVos scored a hat trick in Central's 4-2 win over Westminster College (Mo.) in the team's most recent match Saturday. Before that, she scored twice in a 2-0 road win at the University of Northwestern – St. Paul (Minn.), the 2025 UMAC regular season champion.

DeVos leads the American Rivers Conference and is among the national leaders in points (22) and goals (10).

Central hosts Greenville University (Ill.) at 4 p.m. Thursday.
