PELLA—After piling up five goals in two matches this week for the Central College women's soccer team, Olivia DeVos (junior, Altoona, Southeast Polk HS) was announced as American River Conference Offensive Player of the Week Monday.
           
The Dutch beat the University of Northwestern-St. Paul (Minn.) 2-0 on Wednesday and Westminster College (Mo.) 4-2 on Saturday. DeVos scored both goals against the Eagles and recorded a hat trick against the Blue Jays. She only needed eight shot attempts to score the five goals.
           
DeVos is one of two players in Division III with 10 goals already this season.
           
Central hosts Greenville University (Ill.) at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
