PELLA—Rain and lightning forced the Central College women's tennis match at Truman State University (Mo.) Wednesday to be abandoned
The Dutch and Bulldogs made it through the doubles portion of the match before weather put a stop to the contest. The weather delay was extensive enough to not allow the teams to finish before nightfall.

Ryun Ferrell was disappointed not to get the younger lineup he brought additional action. Freshman
Liv Allely (freshman, Council Bluffs, Lewis Central HS) and junior
Madison Price (junior, Ankeny, Centennial HS) won at No. 3 doubles 7-6 (6-3).
"We looked good and I was happy with what I was seeing," he said. "We had chances at No. 1 doubles and could have won the doubles point.
Central is sending a handful of athletes to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Midwest Regional Friday and Saturday in St. Peter, Minnesota.
