Jones comes to Pella after spending the 2023 and 2024 seasons as an assistant coach at Lincoln Memorial University (Tenn.). The Division II Railsplitters finished 10-5-3 and advanced to the 2024 South Atlantic Conference tournament championship match. The program was 18-12-6 during her tenure while having seven conference offensive or defensive player of the week accolades.

Prior to that, she was the Director of Player Analysis/Soccer Operations at Division I Xavier University (Ohio). The Musketeers were 30-7-6 in her two seasons.

Additionally, she was the head coach of the Cincinnati United Soccer Club from August of 2021 to May of 2023. After an injury ended her own career, she was a volunteer student assistant coach at Division III Westminster College (Pa.) for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 academic years.

The Dutch were 11-7-2 in 2024, placing fifth in the American Rivers Conference with a 3-3-2 mark.
