PELLA— The Central College men's golf team presented checks to two local organizations following the team's miniature golf tournament fundraiser held during the school year.
           
After the seventh iteration of the Dutch Carpetbaggers Miniature Golf Tournament held in February, the Dutch men's golf tournament presented a check with 50% of this year's proceeds to the Pella Fire Department. Recent graduate Ethan Gordon also assisted coach Mel Blasi with a formal presentation of the 2024 check to Many Hands, a local non-profit.
           
The program has donated more than $8,000 to the community over the last 6 years.
