PELLA—The Golf Coaches Association of America has named Central College's Harold Dobernecker (senior, Nevada) to the Division III Ping All-Region VI Team.
           
Dobernecker is Central's first men's all-region honoree since the Dutch had four players selected in 2015 after not having a pick since 2010.
           
A three-time team Ryerson Most Valuable Player Award winner, Dobernecker is a four-time American Rivers all-conference honoree and a three-year team co-captain. He posted a 74.88 competitive stroke average this spring after compiling a 73.2 average last fall. He broke a school record with a 36-hole score of 68-68—136 in taking first place in a 120-player field at the Carthage (Wis.) Firebirds Fall Classic Sept. 11-12.
           
The Dutch finished third in the American Rivers tourney April 28-30.
