Dutch softball team remains in national top 20

Central drops two slots in softball poll

PELLA—Despite a dominant 5-1 week, the Central College softball team moved down to No. 20 in this week's NFCA Division III Top 25 Softball Coaches Poll.
           
The Dutch are now 26-7 after picking up five wins last week. Central outscored its opponents 63-18 with three games ending in a run-rule victory for the Dutch
           
Salisbury University (Md.) stayed in the No. 1 spot in the poll for the third week in a row at 34-1. Central is the only American Rivers school in the rankings.
           
Central plays its next doubleheader Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. in Lincoln, Nebraska against Nebraska Wesleyan University.
