Chorowicz spent the past season as Central's wide receivers coach as the squad racked up 2,944 receiving yards and 46 touchdown catches in 10 games. Central is expected to return at least seven starters this fall from another high-powered Dutch offense. Last year's 8-2 squad averaged 42.8 points and 442.3 yards per game   Central also had the No. 2-rated passing offense in the NCAA Division III and No. 8 total offense in 2022 after leading the nation in passing, scoring and total offense in 2021.

"We were really blessed last year when we were able to hire him as our receivers coach," head coach Jeff McMartin said. "He's got a great background, working with some really high-quality coaches. He's been intentional about how he's learned the game and how he's prepared. I think we're getting a really bright, young offensive coordinator."

A Liberty University (Va.) graduate, Chorowicz spent three seasons on the staff there, first as an offensive graduate intern then as an offensive graduate coach working with wide receivers. He then spent three months as an offensive analyst at Jackson State University (Miss.) before arriving at Central last spring. During his coaching tenure at Liberty, the Flames were 26-11, winning the 2020 Cure Bowl and the 2021 Lending Tree Bowl.

He received a bachelor's degree in sport management from Liberty in 2019, a master's in sport management: coaching and sport administration in 2020 and a master's in business administration in 2023.

"It's a real benefit for him to have in our program, working with our staff and working with our offensive players," McMartin said. "He comes in knowing our offense and what we're capable of. We'll take that and continue to do what we've done but also bring in a few new wrinkles and ideas."

A native of Kohler, Wisconsin, Chorowicz and his wife, Britta, were married in 2021.

"He's a great fit for the Central community," McMartin said. "His wife has roots here in Pella. They embrace Central and Pella as a place they want to work and live."
