Michael Chorowicz (HOAR-oh-witz) was promoted to Central football offensive coordinator in 2024, after joining the staff the previous year, working with the wide receievers.

In his first season as offensive coordinator, the Dutch offense had 4,362 yards and 50 touchdowns. Ryan Neu was a first-team all-conference selection at wide receiver with 47 receptions and eight  touchdowns and 700 yards.

Chorowicz spent three seasons on the coaching staff at Liberty University in a variety of roles. He came to Central after spending three months as an offensive analyst with Jackson State University (Miss.) in the spring of 2023.

During his coaching tenure at Liberty, the Flames were 26-11 and won the 2020 Cure Bowl and 2021 LendingTree Bowl.

As a player, the Flames were 24-21 during his four years. The program transitioned from NCAA Division I FCS to FBS for his senior season in 2019, winning its first ever bowl game at the 2019 FBC Mortgage Cure Bowl.

“We were really blessed last year when we were able to hire Michael as our receivers coach,” head coach Jeff McMartin said. “He’s got a great background, working with some really high-quality coaches. He’s been intentional about how he’s learned the game and how he’s prepared. I think we’re getting a really bright, young offensive coordinator.”

He and his wife, Britta, were married in 2021.
