Why did you chose Central?

I never wanted to go to school out of state, but one overnight visit with the soccer team changed my mind. I wanted high quality academics as well as a competitive soccer experience, but most importantly, I wanted the community I saw the students had here at Central. The atmosphere around Central is magnetic- I didn’t even apply to any other school. Central was the one.

Favorite professor and why?

Professor Shuger-Fox is my favorite professor, though Central makes it difficult to just pick one. I love how Professor Shuger-Fox shares her post-grad experiences and the life lessons she has learned. She is very easy to talk and joke with, which makes me excited to go to her class every day. She is so passionate about everything she lectures on and it makes me pumped to learn it.

You’re majoring in exercise science because?

I love sports and human performance. The science behind improving an athlete’s performance is so fascinating and once I am finished playing soccer I want to continue to contribute to athletics.

Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?

FCA

Who are your go-to musical artists?

Anything Country on the radio. I’m not one to seek out music.

What did you do for work and for fun in the summer of 2019?

I worked for Clear Water Outdoor renting out kayaks and paddle boards on the lake. I went to Costa Rica through Beyond Sports and got to play soccer for 9 days with selected players from all over the United States. That was one of the coolest experiences of my life! My dad and I went up to Canada for a fishing trip as well. One day, the two of us collectively caught about 65 northern pike.

Would you rather have more time or more money?

More time. More time means I can worry less and enjoy the moment. You can’t take money with you in the afterlife.

Favorite time of day, why?

Early morning. I love the stillness of the morning while sipping on hot coffee.

The best place to get ice cream in the world is…?

La Ducs custard in Wales, Wisconsin. Best custard ever- but don’t forget about their wonton wrapped mozzarella sticks!

Who was your first celebrity crush?

Brett Favre was probably my first ever celebrity crush. Baby Cheesehead me wore his jersey most of my childhood. I think I even dressed up as Brett Favre for Halloween a few times.

Favorite TV Show

The Office.

What’s it like to play for Coach Kobylinski?

Playing for Coach Koby is fun. He is a very passionate coach and knows every statistic since he has been coaching here. I’ve learned a lot from him about the game, as well as how he sees the field as a coach. I appreciate how much time he spends thinking about the team; he always wants the best for his players.

What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central soccer?

I love all of our traditions. Pregame is going to forever be one of my favorite things we do, but it is also the little things like the games we play together before practice or the weird inside jokes we scream during warm up lines. The girls make this team so enjoyable to be on.

What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?

10 years from now I will have won the Amazing Race and used the money for a hobby farm raising cows, chickens, goats and possibly a kid. Job-wise… I will have discovered my dream job

Favorite food from Central Market.

Quinoa Bowls!

Bucket list

Hike Machu Picchu, Patagonia in Chile, and Banff. Go to a Superbowl preferably when the Packers play in it.
