Why did you chose Central?
I had always known I would go to college but I had never thought about where until senior year. I had never even thought about what I wanted in a college so when Central reached out to me about continuing my track career and studying abroad I knew Central was perfect for me. Another thing that attracted me to Central was the fact that it was in a new state and five hours from home and that’s the PERFECT distance lol!
Favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor is Dr. Kim Koza. I only had her for one semester but she taught me so much about my own history in African American Literature that I will never forget her. I also have had the chance to collaborate with her on a couple projects since the class and I love her spirit. She is just an awesome person, very passionate, and really sweet.
Who are your go-to musical artists?
Simple, Mom (bka Beyonce) & Drake (bka love of my life)
What are you majoring in and why?
I’m majoring in Psychology because, it is a really open ended subject. I can be anything with a psychology degree, literally from a doctor to a lawyer to a daycare owner. It’s not a major where I would have to be too committed this early in the game and I’m very indecisive so I needed that especially two years ago. The psyche of people is also just a really interesting topic.
If a loved one was to serenade you, what song would you most like them to sing?
“Mine” by Beyonce ft. Drake!
How many pairs of shoes do you own?
On campus I have about 30. At home at least another 40 pair so roughly 70 pairs of shoes lol I really love shoes.
Teammate who would be most likely to win on “Dancing with the Stars”
Definitely Tre Wilridge! He dances all the time and he’s actually kind of good lol
All-time favorite Disney movie
Cinderella with Brandy and Whitney Houston. Hands down an ultimate classic! I know every song.
If you could bring one fictional character to life, who would it be and why?
SpongeBob because that was my favorite childhood tv show that I still have to watch anytime it’s on and because he would bring joy and laughter to anyone he’s around.
What kind of phone was your first phone?
Awwww my first phone ever when I was like two years old was a Goofy (like the Disney character) rotary phone, but my first cell phone was a Nokia.

What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central track and field team?
My friends, my teammates and coaches, I really just enjoy the people at Central.
“Ten years from now I’ll...”
have a masters in psychology, working on some doctoral program, own one or two businesses, live in a condo in downtown Chicago, and have traveled to at least two more countries
Favorite food from Central Market
They have been getting really good at making macaroni and cheese so let’s go with that.
