Why did you choose Central?
I chose Central because I knew that I could be successful both academically and athletically if I came to a smaller school like Central and it only took one visit for me to realize that this is where I wanted to spend 4 years of my life.
Favorite professor and why?
I would say Dr. Laine because she’s a really engaging professor and there’s never a day where I go to her class and don’t feel like participating in class discussion. She makes course content interesting to learn about and is an easy professor to like!
Who are your go-to musical artists?
I’m a Classic Rock girl all the way so I love Queen, Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, really anybody from the 80’s.
You’re majoring in business management because?
I’m majoring in Business Management with an emphasis in Administration because I really want to work for the NCAA some day, hopefully at their home office in Indianapolis, doing Regulatory Restriction or Compliance.
Who would play you in a movie about your life?
Sandra Bullock because I feel like in her movies she’s always an assertive character and just really funny and charismatic.
Who is your hero/inspiration?
My mom is definitely my hero. My whole life I’ve grown up watching her work so hard at everything she does and being extremely passionate about being a good wife, mom and friend, and I hope I can be half the woman that she is some day.
If you could sing one song on American Idol, what would it be and why?
I would choose to do a partner audition with Daria Parchert and we would sing Bohemian Rhapsody, doing all 4 parts just the 2 of us.
Which superpower would you choose to have for yourself?
I would choose to be able to read minds because I am not very good at being able to tell what people are thinking are feeling, I have to be explicitly told haha.

Independent, loyal, blunt, sarcastic and passionate
Artist you’d pick to see in concert
Definitely Queen. Hands down. And I would take Kaitlyn Andresen with me!
Favorite TV Show
I hate to say it, but probably The Office. My brother and I quote it non-stop when we go home and it drives my mom nuts.
What’s one thing people might not know about Coach Wares?
One time our freshman year, Sadie Baugher and I were playing third base during practice and Coach began to hit the balls so hard at us that he made us wear helmets for our own safety haha.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central Softball?
My favorite part about being a member of Central Softball is the fact that I get the opportunity to play a game with all of my best friends, and the best part is that we win!
“Ten years from now I’ll...”
I’ll hopefully be working for the NCAA, living in Indianapolis or an area near there, with a family and a cute little Boxer dog named Big Papi (after David Ortiz).
