Why Central?

I first visited Central because I was being recruited for soccer. I loved the small campus atmosphere when I arrived and how I met so many people within a few hours of being on campus. Coach Laidlaw introduced me to Coach Ferrell by the end of my visit, and I started to get recruited for tennis as well.

Favorite professor and why?

Professor Franks. He’s laid back, easy to approach, dedicated to his job, and is always available outside of the classroom.

In your iPod?

I like to listen to a lot of different kinds of music. On Saturday’s I like to throw it back to the 80’s, on game days I like to listen to rap and edm.

You’re majoring in computer information systems and business management because?

I came into Central know that I wanted to major in CIS, because I enjoy working with computers, whether it’s IT work, web design, or coding. During my freshman year, I found a passion for business management, because I enjoy learning about how different companies are successful and how they manage their business and funds.

Toughest part of playing two sports in college?

The toughest part is definitely the offseasons in between the two sports. In the winter, it’s hard to transition from kicking balls to hitting balls. In the summer, getting in shape for soccer season usually means long runs in hot weather.

Favorite sport to watch in the Olympics?

Swimming is definitely my favorite sport to watch. Closely behind is gymnastics.

Who is the best soccer player in the world?

Cristiano Ronaldo.

Favorite summertime food?

I have been enjoying my “Hot Pockets” this summer while living in Hoffman, but I would have to say the fresh seafood from vacations in South Carolina is my favorite.

The coolest places you visited this summer?

Charleston, South Carolina and Central College Communications Office

What’s the best Pokemon you’ve caught playing Pokemon Go?

I caught this Slowbro thing and it was pink, so that was pretty cool. CP 642.

Favorite TV Show?

I really enjoy watching “Arrow,” “Daredevil”, and “Criminal Minds”.

The one thing people don’t about Coach Laidlaw?

He supports Newcastle United. They haven’t had a very good season for a very long time.

Why do you love Central Soccer?

I love Central soccer because it allows me to keep playing the sport that I love while focusing on academics as well. I have met some amazing people through this program.

“Ten years from now I’ll...”

I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow!

Favorite food from Central Market?

Fresh cookie Tuesday with some milk.

Bucket list:

I want to watch Arsenal play in London at the Emirates, go to an NFL and MLB game in every stadium, and go camping/hiking at a National Park.
