PELLA—Central College softball catcher Rylee Dunkin (junior, Hamilton, Twin Cedars HS) was named to the NFCA Division III Pitcher and Player of the Year watchlist Thursday afternoon

There were 118 players representing all 10 NCAA regions. The list was compiled by the NFCA Division III All-America Committee. Dunkin is among 10 players listed from Region IX.

Dunkin was a second-team NFCA Division III All-American in catcher in 2025 while also being on the American Rivers All-Conference first team. She was also chosen for the Watchlist last year.

Through 18 games, Dunkin is batting .404 and leads the team with 24 runs and 19 hits. She also leads the team with two home runs and has driven in 10 runs.

The award winners will be announced May 27.

Central returns to action Monday with a noon doubleheader at Luther College.
