PELLA— Emily Naughton (junior, Indianola) was chosen to represent the Central College women's basketball player named on the American Rivers all-conference team.
           
Naughton, a guard, was a second-team selection. Maddie Backer (freshman, New Ulm, Minn.) and CeCe Moore (junior, Waterloo, West HS) both received honorable mention.
           
In her 16 conference games, Naughton averaged 10.4 points and 335 rebounds per game. She also led the Dutch with 33 assists and 22 steals. She made 41 of 49 free throws attempts.
           
Moore, a forward, averaged 7.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. She ranked eighth in the conference in rebounding and fifth in blocks (1.4)
           
Backer, a guard, average 7.6 points per game and 3.9 rebounds. She chipped in eight steals and 17 assists.
           
The Dutch finished their season 12-14 and 7-9 in conference games, finishing sixth.
