Dutch softball team debuts at No. 20

Central has won 12 consecutive games

PELLA— In the midst of a 12-game winning streak, the Central College softball broke into the newest NFCA/GoRout Division III Top 25 Coaches Poll at No. 20 on Tuesday.
           
Central (15-1) won all 10 games of its spring break trip to Melbourne, Florida and swept Millikin University (Ill.) Sunday in its first doubleheader on its home field.
           
Virginia Wesleyan University is the unanimous No. 1 team while Trine University (Ind.) and Linfield University (Ore.) round out the top three.
Central is home again on Saturday against Illinois College at 2 p.m.
