PELLA— A pair of Central College women's wrestlers were once again recognized as Scholar All-Americans by the National Wrestling Coaches Association for the 2025-26 season.
           
The NWCA's NCAA Women's Scholar All-American awards recognize outstanding student-athletes who excel in both academics and athletics. A total of 540 scholar athletes from 92 institutions nationwide were honored.
           
Senior Esther Belzer (Kalona, Hillcrest Academy) and sophomore Madilyn Rowson (sophomore, Knoxville, Pleasantville HS) returned to the list after being honored in 2024-25. Belzer is a three-time honoree including the 2023-24 season.  Belzer carries a 3.96 GPA as an information systems major. Rowson has a 3.79 GPA in kinesiology.
