PELLA — Improving upon the best start in program history with a win and a draw, the Central College women's soccer team improved in both regional rankings released Monday.

The Dutch (11-1-1) are up to No. 5 in the NCAA's regional ratings, the best position in school history. The United Soccer Coaches tabbed the team for eighth in the sixth edition of the poll this season. Central was included in the first three polls but was absent in the most recent two. Central is up to No. 59 of 411 Division III teams in this week's NPI ranking.

Central has two road matches this week, traveling to Buena Vista University on Wednesday and Loras College Saturday.
