PELLA — A hot start by the Central College men's basketball team didn't last in an 87-66 loss against Nebraska Wesleyan University Wednesday night.
Coming off a pair of overtime wins last week, Central (10-9, 3-7 American Rivers Conference) played Nebraska Wesleyan (14-5, 9-1 conference) to a 32-32 tie at halftime. Kyle Cason (freshman, Grimes, Dallas Center-Grimes HS) and
Owen Schipper (sophomore, Waukee) both scored 14 points for Central.
Bradley Curren (junior, Harlan) had 13 more and

The Dutch are not in action this weekend, returning to play next Wednesday in Dubuque against Loras College at 7:30 p.m.
