Dutch bested twice on Wednesday

PELLA — In Wednesday's home triangular, the Central College volleyball was on the wrong side of the scoreboard against both Westminster College (Mo.) and Lawrence University (Wis.).

Westminster (6-4) defeated Central (5-5) in three sets 25-22, 25-17, 25-22 and Lawrence (9-2) won in four sets 25-19, 22-25, 25-19, 25-22.

"The lessons we are learning right now are the lessons we need to figure out in the next two weeks," coach Jeanne Czipri said. "This group has a lot of great pieces, and we need all the pieces playing with the same level of discipline, sense of urgency and competitiveness."

Outside hitter Leslie Snow (senior, Olivia, Minn., BOLD HS) shined against Lawrence with 19 kills and 19 digs.
