Ten Dutch land on track and field and cross country academic list

Seven of Central's 10 honorees had All-American performances in 2024-25

PELLA — The Central College track and field and cross country programs combined for 10 student-athletes on the College Sports Communicator Division III Academic All-District teams Tuesday morning.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve at the varsity level and achieve a 3.50 or better cumulative grade point average. Institutions are limited to five nominees per gender.

Olivia Bohlen (junior, Belle Plaine), Emily McMartin (junior, Pella), Alivia Roerdink (sophomore, Tiffin, Ohio, Hopewell-Loudon HS) and Amber Vroman (senior, Seneca, Ill.) are all on the Central women's track and field team. Addison Parrott (senior, Danville) finished her career with the Dutch women's cross country and track and field squads

Kaleb Brand (fifth year, Mount Vernon), Kale Hobart (sophomore, Mason City) and Gunner Meyer (junior, Fairbank, Wapsie Valley HS) represent the Central men's track and field team. Jack Brown (sophomore, Norwalk) and Derek Webster (senior, Norwalk) are part of the cross country and track and field teams.

Bohlen, McMartin, Parrott, Roerdink, Brown, Hobart and Meyer all earned All-American accolades during the 2024-25 season. All 10 of Central's honorees were all-conference performers in at least one of the three conference championship meets.
