PELLA— The Central College women's wrestling team had three selections to the National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All American team.
           
Esther Belzer (junior, Kalona, Hillcrest Academy), Piper Eighmy (sophomore, Birmingham, Ala., Briarwood Christian HS) and Madilyn Rowson (freshman, Knoxville, Pleasantville HS) were the athletes that earned this honor. These outstanding student-athletes have demonstrated excellence both on the mat and in the classroom. They needed to compete in a minimum of 15 matches and have at least a 3.5 Cumulative GPA.                  
Belzer posted a 4-9 record including one fall and two technical falls. She also carried a 3.77 GPA. Eighmy was 1-13 this season with a 4.00 GPA. Rowson was 10-17 in matches while collecting seven falls and two technical falls. She also carried a 3.88 GPA.
