PELLA—Three Central College cross country runners were cited as All-Region honorees by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Monday.
           
Addison Parrott (senior, Danville) is a repeat women's honoree from last season while teammate Peyton Steffen (junior, Marion) was cited for the first time. Men's runner Derek Webster (senior, Norwalk) was also recognized.
           
All three honorees qualified as individuals for the NCAA Division III Championships Saturday at Terre Haute, Indiana.
           
All-region honorees must finish in the top 35 at one of the 10 Division III regionals conducted last Saturday.
           
At the Midwest Regional in Rock Island, Illinois, Parrott and Steffen placed third and fourth in the women's race, respectively. For the men, Webster was 28th.
           
The women's national meet race Saturday starts at 10 a.m. (Central Time) with the men's race at 11 a.m. A video webcast of the races can be accessed via NCAA.com.
