Class of 2027
Why did you chose Central?
I decided to attend Central College because I was looking for a community that had a culture for success, the major I was pursuing, and successful athletics. Central met and exceeded all three of these categories.
Â
Favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor is Dr. Thompson because she provides opportunity off campus to collaborate with corporations in the area. Opportunities outside of the classroom offer real world examples/problems for techniques I am learning inside the classroom.Â
Â
You’re double majoring in engineering and physics because?
I love math and solving complex problems. I wanted a major that allowed me to be hands on with machines and materials, which engineering offers opportunity for that.Â
Â
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
Besides being a part of both football and track and field, I am involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes leadership team and Vice Chair of the Engineering club.Â
Â
Who are your go-to musical artists?
My go-to musical artists would be Forrest Frank, Josiah Queen, and Chris Tomlin
Â
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?
During my time here, I have been impacted in many aspects of my life. I have learned to overcome difficult challenges through determination and consistency. Central has opened new doors and ideas about myself, and how I can be a contributor and difference maker in others' lives. The biggest impact from Central is the relationships I have created. I have a strong band of brothers that will continue to impact my life past college. Reflecting on these things, I can confidently say that Central has prepared me for a bright and high achieving future.
Â
Who is your favorite superhero?
Probably Wonder Women because she's a lovely looking lady.
Â
Best vacation you’ve ever been on?
The best vacation I have been on would be my excursion to Alaska. I got to experience the blue glacier waters, massive mountains, fish for Salmon, and tour the Air Force base in Anchorage.Â
Â
What field event do you wish you could do?
I wish I could do triple jump.
Â
If you were stranded on an island with one teammate, who would it be and why?
I would select Gunner Meyer for my island partner because Coach Fuller would swim across the ocean to save him, so I could hopefully tag along with them. Â
Â
Favorite TV Show
The Grand Tour
Â
What’s it like to compete for Coach Fuller?
Coach Fuller keeps practice fun, engaging, but extremely focused on our goals.Â
Â
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central’s track & field team?
My favorite part being on the track & field team would be living life with my teammates on and off the track.Â
Â
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
I hope to at least be married by then, maybe some kids, a cow, some chickens, and a job would be cool too!

Water, if that counts
