Why did you chose Central?
I choose central because of the vibrant and welcoming campus. Central has amazing faculty that will put students first and provide them with the needed support to be successful. Central allows students to dive deeper into thing that they are interested in making the community full of passionate and lively people.
Favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor is Professor Dave Pavlat because he cares about his students as people. He puts in effort to learn more about who you are as a person and works with you to be successful in his classes. He is passionate about what he teaches and loves to tell stories.

Who are your go-to musical artists?
My go-to musical artists are Sam Barber, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs and Dylan Gossett
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?
Attending Central and playing a sport has required me to learn better time management skills and discipline. It requires good organization and planning on what to be doing at what times to be successful. I have also learned the importance of taking care of myself and prioritizing sleep and nutrition. Both have been key to success in class, in the weight room, and of course on the pitch. Central and playing soccer has also helped me build lasting relationships, which have all impacted who I am today.
What do you miss most about living in Colorado when you’re in Iowa?
What I miss most about living in Colorado when I am in Iowa is the mountains and my dog. I especially miss the hikes with my dog in the mountains. Every summer we hike to the base of the ski lifts and the view is always amazing.
Who is your hero/inspiration?
My inspiration is my Aunt Kelley because of her selflessness and kindness she showed towards others. Before she passed away in 2022 she would participate in 5k walks that helped spread awareness and raise money for people with MS. She was always so giving and encouraging towards others, and it inspires me to do the same.
Teammate who needs their own reality tv crew following them around and why?
I think it would be fun for Emma Klosterman to have her own reality tv crew following her around because she is a very vibrant, enthusiastic, and outgoing person. She is the person on the team who always as a fun story to tell and knows so many different people on campus.
Favorite TV Show
My favorite TV show is Ted Lasso because it is funny, full of optimism, and is about soccer. The show focuses on community, perseverance, and finding joy in the little things which I think are all very valuable lessons to share.
What’s it like to play for Coach Kobylinski?
I really enjoy playing for Coach Koby. He is extremely passionate and dedicated to the team. He does a really go job at communicating what his expectations are for the program, the team, and from you individually. He will always be honest with you and share what he thinks you can improve on and what you are doing well on. He has formed a strong women’s soccer community built on lots of culture and dedication. He will always push you do be the best person you can be and support you in any way he can. He does a really good job at balancing the serious with the fun and goofy. Overall, it is an amazing experience to play for him. Coach Koby is truly a compassionate, supportive, and hardworking coach.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central soccer?
My favorite part about being a member of central soccer is getting to celebrate all the successes that our team works so hard for. One of the big successes from last season is when we beat Dubuque to advance to the semifinals of the conference tournament. All season the team put in so much hard work. To finally get to celebrate at the end of the season with a win at Dubuque was awesome. It isn’t only the big win but also the small win that are fun to celebrate, like when someone does well on a test they have been working hard for or when someone is coming back from an injury. It is so awesome getting to celebrate those wins as well.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
10 years from now I hope to be a teacher and coach. I hope to be living somewhere that makes me happy possibly near the mountains. I hope that I will be living an active lifestyle, going on hikes, playing soccer, golfing, running, lifting and snowboarding.
