Why did you choose Central?
I chose Central because of the welcoming community and the familiar atmosphere. Right when you step on campus you feel at home and comfortable. I grew up coming to Pella and Dutch volleyball camps and I liked them so much and I knew this program was something I wanted to be apart of!
Favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor is Dr. Shelley Bradfield or Stavros. She is very approachable and easy to connect with. You can tell that she cares deeply about all her students and is always willing to help you out! Stavros is also very fun to be around and have conversations with!
You’re majoring in Business Management and minoring in Communications because..?
Because of the different opportunities that are available with this major!
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
In the winter I have taken part in Intramural Basketball.
Who are your go-to musical artists?
My playlist is split between Morgan Wallen and Pitbull! I have seen both of them in concert and I highly recommend both!
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?
Having the opportunity to play a sport at Central has provided me with friendships that I couldn’t have gotten anywhere else and being able to play the sport I love with them! Because of the smaller class sizes at Central it is much easier to connect with your classmates and professors with helps create a better environment for my education. And since many students at Central College are also athletes you are able to connect are support those friends and classmates!
Describe your class trip to Greece this summer?
My trip to Greece this summer was such an amazing and memorable experience. I think being able to learn more about the Greek culture before traveling there helped me fully understand and appreciate the differences and similarities compared to the United States. During my trip I was able to take rowing lessons at an olympic rowing site, tour the 2004 olympic sites in Athens, explore the city life on my own, visit all the historical sites and experience Greek Island life to much more. I made so many memories that will stay with me forever.
Favorite Central tradition?
The lemming race even thought I have never participated in it
What is your favorite thing to spend money on?
Clothes of course, food, and vacation!

What’s it like to play for Coach Czipri?
Playing for coach Zip is definitely an exciting and different experience. One of the things I love most of Coach Zip is that she truly cares for us as individuals and not just as volleyball players. One of her favorite quotes is “I’m not just here to make you a better volleyball player, but to make you a better person and prepare you for the future” and she lives by this. She is also always looking for ways that she can improve and be better for us. I enjoy coming into the gym everyday and looking at the practice board and seeing all the different drills we will be doing.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central volleyball?
My favorite part is definitely all the relationships I have created and support from my team. Every practice and every game I know that my teammates are always there to hype me up and have my back. It truly is a great atmosphere to be involved in!
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
I hope to have a job that I love doing and to have travelled the world and started my own family!
Favorite food from Central Market?
Either Pulled Pork Nachos or Southwest Chicken Bowls. I love any kind of mexican food!
