Why did you choose Central?
I chose Central because when I came to visit, I instantly felt welcomed. Everyone was very nice to me and helped show me around. I also chose Central because of the size of the school. I knew I wanted to go to a school where I felt like a person instead of just a number. Another reason I chose Central was because I would be able to play college basketball, which I always wanted to do.
Favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor is Professor Sughar Fox because she makes her classes interesting while still teaching us the content. I like how she is always bringing in real world examples to show us the importance of what we are learning.
You’re majoring in Kinesiology because?
I want to work with people to help them keep moving and stay active as well as become more educated on how to live a healthier lifestyle myself.
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
I am not really involved in anything else on campus besides basketball.
Who are your go-to musical artists?
Noah Kahan and Drake
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?
I would say the biggest way that sports at Central has impacted my life has been by giving me lifelong friends. I have gotten to do many fun things with my teammates like team trips and team bonding that I wouldn’t have gotten to do without basketball. I know that when I graduate, I will still have my teammates and friends supporting me throughout life.
All-time favorite Disney movie?
Probably the Lion King or Toy Story.
What’s your best sport besides basketball?
My best sport besides basketball is definitely golf. I would golf every single day of my life if I could. It is by far my favorite hobby and somedays I am tempted to move to somewhere warm year around so that I can always golf. The worst part of winter is that I am unable to golf.
Chore you absolutely hated doing as a kid?
My least favorite chore as a kid was definitely having to do the dishes. My sister and I would always have to do them together, which was the worst because I always got forced to do the actual scrubbing of the dishes while she only had to rinse them. We were supposed to switch jobs every time we washed the dishes but she's younger so that never happened unfortunately.
Pre-game snack or pre-game nap?
For sure a pre-game nap. I never usually eat much before a game, but I am always down to take a long nap!

What’s it like to play for Coach Weiland?
It is fun to play for Coach Weiland because he is super competitive and will do anything to put us in the best position to win the game. He is always thinking of new game plans to help us be successful. He also always reminds us that one mistake doesn’t define who we are as a basketball player or as a person, which helps us all have more confidence in ourselves on the basketball court.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central Women's Basketball?
My favorite part of being on the Central Women's Basketball team is the time that I get to spend with my teammates. We all spend a lot of time together on and off the court and all the memories that we have made together are special. Another thing I love about our team is getting to see all our hard work in the offseason and in practices pay off in the big games.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
I hope to have a family and a steady job
