Why Central?
Central has a family feel that I couldn’t find anywhere else, especially within the women’s basketball and athletic training programs.
Favorite professor and why?
Honestly I have too many good professors to choose from. Any professor I’ve had through the my time in the athletic training program has helped me tremendously both in and out of the classroom.
In your iPod?
Shania Twain and Lauren Daigle
You’re majoring in athletic training because?
I’ve always wanted to work in healthcare so that I can help people both in athletics and in their daily lives. Athletic training gives me that opportunity among many others.
What is one quote you try to live by?
“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:8)
What is the most expensive thing you’ve ever broken?
My parents’ lawn mower. I was in middle school and I was texting while mowing the lawn and hit our camper. Needless to say, I’m not allowed to mow anymore.
What is one sporting event you’d love to attend?
Golden State Warriors game.
Favorite Christmas movie that you have to watch at least twice every year.
Elf.
What words of wisdom would you pass on to your childhood self?
Treat people how you want to be treated and enjoy where you’re at in life. God has a plan to work everything out in your life, so there’s no need to worry.
What is your favorite thing to spend money on?
Clothes.
Favorite TV Show
Reign and The Originals.
The one thing people don’t about Coach Briggs?
In college, her friend had a dog named Peyton that coach Briggs had to help take care of. She has some very funny stories about the dog.
Why do you love Central basketball?
Central basketball has given me a second family. I love my teammates and I love getting to play basketball with them every day.
“Ten years from now I’ll...”
Have a family, a job, and no college debt (hopefully).
Favorite food from Central Market
Fresh chocolate chip cookies.
