Class of 2025

Why did you chose Central?

I chose central because it felt like home, I grew up in a small town and I really loved the community that Pella has to offer.

Favorite professor and why?

My favorite professor is Ann McDonald, I find her business classes enjoyable and fun most of the time.

You’re majoring in business management because?

I am majoring in Business Management because of the amount of job opportunities that the major offered for after college was appealing to me.

Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?

I am not involved in anything outside of athletics.

Who are your go-to musical artists?

My go to music artist are Tyler Childers, ASAP Rocky, Kanye, and The Offspring

How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?

Attending central and participating in wrestling has changed my life, wrestling in itself is a life changing sport that gives you a completely different view on life. Wrestling at central has given me the opportunity to view almost everything in life as a challenge that is always able to be achieved no matter how hard it gets.

What are the best and worst parts about going up two weight classes this year?

The best part about going up two weight classes is the food for sure, I eat big, lift big, and don’t have to worry about losing any weight. The downside is obviously wrestling bigger guys but hey, there’s no weight classes in the jungle.

What movie do you believe deserves as a sequel but hasn’t gotten it yet

Vision Quest deserves a sequel, wrestling has changed a lot since the movie was made but it was one of the more realistic movies for its time.

What was your first car?

My first car was a dodge nitro.

How would you spend one million dollars?

I would spend a million dollars by first giving my family a fair share, I wouldn’t be where I’m at today without them. After that I would likely buy a house with my fiancé and then invest the rest.

Favorite TV Show

My favorite show currently is Loudermilk, it’s not the most appropriate but it definitely makes me laugh.

What’s it like to play for Coach Williams?

Wrestling for Coach Williams has been great, having a new coach is always tough but I actually went through the same thing twice in high school which somewhat prepared me for this. Coach Williams has done nothing but help me improve this season which I am very grateful for.

What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central?

My favorite part about being a member of Central is the environment and friendships I have made along the way. Over the past 3 1/2 years I have made lifelong friends with great people that truly want to see me succeed. On top of that I found my soon to be wife (Zoe Lutz) at Central who I am very grateful for and wouldn’t have made it through college without her!

What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?

10 years from now I hope to have a family with my fiancé and be coaching. I love wrestling and would love to give back to the sport.

Favorite food from Central Market

Favorite food from Central Market is probably orange chicken, I have always loved orange chicken since I was young.

Bucket list

Have a family with my beautiful Fiancé
