Why did you choose Central?
I choose Central because of its environment, the people, and the Strength & Conditioning program!
Favorite professor and why?
One of my favorite professors is Dave Pavlat. He is a friendly and caring guy. It is easy to talk to him and have solid conversations with him. If you’re struggling with anything in school, he is more than willing to help.
You’re majoring in Strength & Conditioning because?Â
It has been something I have wanted to do ever since I started getting into the weight room with my dad. I have also had great experiences with strength coaches in the past which inspired me to follow this path to become one myself!
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
I am involved in the Strength & Conditioning program we have here at Central. I get to interact and coach a variety of athletes on campus.
Who are your go-to musical artists?
My favorite artists are 2Pac, Metallica, and Travis Scott.
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?
It has taught me that life will be challenging. You will go through some challenges but if you can get through that then you will be able to do anything your heart desires. It has also taught me the importance of friendship and family.
What is one this you miss about being a kid?
I can for sure say not having to do homework.
What is your favorite throwback song?
My favorite throwback song is Upside Down by Jack Johnson

What’s it like to play for Coach Sturman?
It is great! He holds us to a high standard and pushes us to be the best we can be both on and off the track.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central Track?
It is awesome! Being part of this team makes me feel like I am part of this second family. We all get along and the energy and environment we bring is just amazing.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
In ten years from now I am hoping to be a high-level private sector coach, which includes being with professional athletes.
