Why did you chose Central?
I chose Central because I love the whole atmosphere of the school and the community. I wanted a small campus, and I wanted to go somewhere out of state as well. The community and the volleyball team were both very welcoming on my first day here and made me feel right at home.
Favorite professor and why?
Tammy Strawser, because she has been there for me since day one of college. She is always asking me how I am doing and knows how to put a smile on my face
You’re majoring in elementary education because?
I love working and building connections with kids. I want to be a role model for my students, and I also think this job is super rewarding.
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
FCA, CTA (Central Teaching Academy), Bible study group
Who are your go-to musical artists?
King & Country, Noah Kahan, Myles Smith
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?
Central has impacted my life in so many ways. Moving five hours away from home was very difficult at first, but it has helped me grow into an independent person and has brought me so many new friends. Being a student athlete has brought me many skills such as time management, work ethic, communication, ect. Last year I struggled with mental health and I had my coaches, teammates, professors, and supports around town able to help me through it. I continue to believe that Central is a safe place and there are always people looking to help you.
What song would you sing on an audition for American Idol?
Can’t Help Falling in Love – Elvis Presley
What’s the best snack/candy and drink combination for a movie theater?
Popcorn or nerd clusters and a raspberry iced tea
What was your dream job growing up?
At first, I wanted to be a cashier, but then I fulfilled that dream. Other than that, I have always wanted to be a teacher.

What’s it like to play for Coach Czipri?
Playing for coach Czipri is both fun and challenging. She always knows how to make the gym a fun and comfortable environment but is also not afraid to push us to our full potential. Zip is never afraid to throw in drills that are both weird and uncomfortable, it makes for a good laugh from the whole team. Zip not only cares for you as an athlete but as a person first, she has always been there when I have just needed to talk to someone.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central volleyball?
My favorite part about being a member of Central volleyball is getting to have another family. I enjoy seeing my team around campus or in classes and being able to talk to any of them. The girls on the team are always pushing me to be the best, but are there for me when things get hard as well.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
I hope to be married, have kids and dogs, and working a teaching job that I enjoy.
Favorite food from Central Market
Salmon, rice, and asparagus

Travel the world, parachuting, go to Hawaii, go on a cruise
